We're planning our first activities

If you'd like to hear when we start, register your interest and we'll be in touch.

How we plan our activities
- Small and unhurried. Room to work at your own pace, and no pressure to finish or to be good at something yet.
- Take part your own way. Watching first, joining halfway, or taking a break is fine.
- Say what you need. We'd rather adjust an activity than have someone miss out on it.
- No experience needed. You should be able to arrive knowing nothing about a tool or a material and still make something.
When and where
We are based in Täby. Each activity will be announced on its own, with its dates, times, venue and the age range it suits — so that we can shape sessions around what our members actually need, rather than guessing in advance.
The best way to hear about them first is to register your interest, or to follow us on Instagram at @mira_creativestudio.
Common questions
When do activities start?
We're planning our first sessions now. Register your interest and you'll be among the first to know.
Who can take part?
Activities are for children, teenagers and young adults, and are open to members of the association. Each activity will state the age range it's planned for, because a 3D printing session and a crochet afternoon suit different groups.
What does it cost?
Membership is 100 SEK a year for children and young people up to 17, 200 SEK for adults, and 350 SEK for a family. Most activities are included; where an activity has a materials cost or a participation fee, we'll say so clearly when we announce it.
Does my child need any experience?
No. Sessions are built so that someone can arrive knowing nothing about a material or a tool and still make something the same day.
My child needs some extra support — is that OK?
Yes. Creating opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent young people is part of why the association exists.
Please don't write your child's details in the form on this site — just send us a message and we'll arrange to talk it through with you privately, so we can plan properly together.
Can I volunteer or lead a workshop?
Please do. We're looking for volunteers, activity leaders and partners as we build the programme. Get in touch and tell us what you'd like to bring.
